We met with several realitors, but Marc was the only one who made us feel like house buying wasn't a daunting or impossible task which was very refreshing to hear as a first time home buyer. Other Realtors we spoke with made it seem like there is just one perfect home for everyone and if you missed it that was it. Marc's approach was much more laid back. He told us we would find a home, fall in love with it, and if we didn't get it, we would probably find another in a few weeks that we would love more. This couldn't be more true. Our first week of home hunting we found two properties we loved, and were out bid. Then two weeks later we found another one and were outbid. Marc didn't let us get discouraged. He kept sending us places to see and working with us through the entire process. On the back end during closing Marc shined again. He fought for us the entire time double checking all paperwork, and making sure we weren't having hidden fees put in our closing costs and flagged things to us that we totally would have overlooked as first time buyers. He also, had a great network of inspectors who came within a few days to do all our inspections and make sure we made our contingency dates. I learned a ton about home buying from Marc and I'm so glad we picked him as our realtor.[read more]
